For our software solution focused on business partners analytics using data science methods we are hiring a Data Scientist with a PhD in Computer Science or in a related discipline. The candidate should accomplish a combined European scientific program application and finally relocate to Germany.

Profile requirements:

● PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for data science

● International scientific experience in the area of machine learning in an university outside Germany

● Ability to analyze and visualize large data sets

● Programming experience preferably using Python or R

● Ability to develop software prototypes

● Experience using agile software development methods

● Creative thinking and willingness to learn new technologies

Position description:

● Application of machine learning algorithms (classic methods, neuronal networks, deep learning)

● Development of data transformation processes using cloud services

● Development of NLP components

● Further development of the underlying data model and structures

● Enhancements of the big data engine using REST API

● Creative design of the presentation layer and enhancement of the intuitive user experience
